The most important part of ATO journey is structuring a viable pathway towards accreditation. Free consulting, to help companies identify their future path or to eliminate blockers will be provided from former Approving Officials to help companies structure viable plans and pathways towards their ATO.
Henry Sienkiewicz
Former CIO / Authorizing Official, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).
"What vendors get wrong is, most vendors approach authorization as a compliance exercise, assuming that meeting control requirements is enough. But authorization decisions are not made on completeness alone - they are made on how risk is understood and explained."
"Many capable systems fail authorization not because they are insecure, but because they do not align to how risk is evaluated. Authorizing Officials are not approving technology - they are accepting responsibility for its behavior over time."
